OK. My prediction for Fury v Usyk is that it’ll go 12 rounds but I can’t predict the winner.

Fury hasn’t really had to raise his level for a while, looks well up for this though, think Usyk is going to be in for an uncomfortable night, as much as I rate him Fury will just jab, lean and suffocate his work, Fury points or late stoppage for me.

Some of those bouncers / security guards look harder than the boxers.

Difficult to call the main event, from a British perspective I want Fury to win, but difficult to know how good he really is. Don’t think he would have lasted too long with Ali, Frazier, Forman and Tyson in their prime.

For you young chaps dig out a You Tube video of Marvelous Marvin Hagler V Thomas Hitman Hearns for the most brutal first round ever. A bit of that would be good tonight.

2nd to Usyk. Fury is getting too comfortable on the back foot, he can't win like this.

This is a hard watch for Fury fans.

Better from Fury, I'll give it to him in the fourth.

    39-37 Usyk.

Usyk looks gassed and Fury just bludgeoning his body.

Can't see this going the distance.

All square at 57-57, Fury asserting himself now, Usyk has lost a lot of steam there.

Better from Usyk than the previous 3, bit Fury pulls ahead to 67-66.

Easy 10-9 for Usyk in the 10th, up 96-93 and needing at least a knockdown to salvage a draw.

    11th to Usyk

    106-102. Usyk undisputed unless there's a knockout.

12th to Usyk, a great win at 116 to 111.

    Will played Usyk!

  28. #78
117-112 Usyk for me. Can’t see it any other way, so wait for the dodgy draw.

Despite placing a bet on Fury, I'm delighted for Usyk and he deserved it. What a champion - undefeated at two weights

  35. #85
Unbelievable that this was the closest of split decisions, I can’t understand how any judge could give that to Fury. They don’t even try to hide the corruption.

Fury was peppering him with body shots early on, was miles ahead by round 8 and then Usyk came flying back.

Usyk won that more comfortably than the scorecards gave it.

That crap at the end from Fury that Usyk got the sympathy vote was in very poor taste.

I didn't think Usyk won it but can see why thenscores went his way particularly after the knockdown and Fury showboating and not really hurting Usyk when he had him in trouble.

You will struggle to find anyone that would give the first three to Fury. First three to Usyk, second three to Fury, seventh a draw, twelfth a draw, the rest to Usyk with a knock down. It wasn’t even close.

I fancied Usyk and wanted him to win, but I agree. Fury had built up a bit of a lead by the 8th.

More controversial for me was the count in the 9th. Fury never actually went down, so one of two things should have happened. The referee should have let him continue taking the punishment, and Usyk would have floored him or the referee should have stopped it as Fury wasn't defending himself.

Regardless I'm pleased for Usyk, he's a classy winner and his devotion to his family and his country is very wholesome.

Yeah good point, I thought actually that the ref would stop it as a TKO.

Given Usyk cleaned up at cruiserweight and is now undisputed at heavyweight there's got to be a case for him being the best pound for pound boxer currently.

Completely agree , I thought Usyk by 3 rounds and Fury got out of jail as that could very easily have been stopped as he was out of it .

Nothing controversial about it the referee was correct as fury would have gone down but was held up by the corner.
